Born on October 18, 1984 American Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She holds the second-highest super score among skiers whether female or male. She is one the greatest and most beloved skiers of the past. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup-winning alpine skier from America who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. There have been four occasions she was crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is a renowned athlete within American history. She is among only six female athletes who have taken home trophies in all five World Cup competitions in alpine. Overall, she's won the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. She is one of the most skilled skiers and racers in the US. After suffering from a series of ailments, the four-time World Cup champion has decided to retire. The four-time World Cup overall champion made her announcement on social media. My last race of my professional career is scheduled to be on the island of Re Sweden next week, in the Downhill World Championships, as well as SG World Championships.
