April Bowlby

April Bowlby, an American model and actress. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor, best well-known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi on the show Two and a Half Men. Modeling was her first career before she moved into films and TV programs. Her debut appearance came in a small screen role as an extra in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After that, she made the appearance of single episodes on various other series. In the near future, she was cast in the part of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett, in the famous TV show Drop Dead Diva. She was the main character of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web show Titans. In a spin-off version from Doom Patrol, she will reprise the role. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. She debuted on the big screen with All Roads Lead Home, then appeared on the screen in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California in her early years and went to East Union High School. When she decided to pursue a career in acting, she studied French and ballet at Moorpark College. She trained with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered her a role on a tv series (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) which was a couple of months from the Hollywood audition. Bowlby has been on numerous TV series, such as CSI in 2004 as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked as Jasmine in 2005 as well as How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby was Natasha last year in All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 about an 11-year-old girl that loses her mother because of a crash. Bowlby is set to play Mia as she appears in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. The blonde has natural hair with blue eyes. She has never married and there are no children.

Her popularity is due to the fact that she had starred in Whedon's new TV show, Firefly. Summer Glau played River Tam without difficulty. Glau was an excellent actor. As Tam her character, she was forced into government experiments that required her to be prepared to become the perfect assassin. Tam had difficulty learning to manage her emotions as a result. Glau demonstrated her fighting ability as well as her acting abilities in Firefly. Being learning to be an assassin allowed Glau to make the most of her athletic abilities. Summer Glau has been a ballerina since the time she was a child. Her broken toe marked the end of her career as a dancer. Firefly had a brief run of one year but gained an avid fan base.
